Who We Are

Why we do what we do

We are racquetball enthusiasts who decided to bring a unique offering to our community, by volunteering our time to hosts tournaments, leagues, and clinics, our goal is to do everything we can to grow this game and its following… and potentially make racquetball an Olympic sport one day in the near future. We also have a focus on youth racquetball and offer scholarships for our community to encourage children to exercise and educate them on the benefits of racquetball, from camaraderie and teamwork to a healthy lifestyle.

we do it for the love

ACRA members work hard behind the scenes to make this dream possible through planning, holding monthly meetings, hosting tournaments, organizing leagues, clinics, lessons, and general education to the community or any individual who is looking for a fun way to exercise and compete.

We train and encourage our junior racquetball players to compete at junior,  high school, and college Nationals, all the way to competing at the US Open Racquetball Championships.

Our mIssion

Alamo City Racquetball Association (ACRA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, founded by San Antonio players, dedicated to the growth of the racquetball community within our city. It is committed to hosting quality, sanctioned tournaments and local events, as well as fostering programs geared towards our junior, high school and college players. ACRA also provides a means of communicating local needs to both state and national level racquetball organizations. ACRA hopes to provide an organized way for players to volunteer their time and contribute their ideas in order to successfully meet its goals.
